Simply put, it is a breathtaking, silent, peaceful 2 kilometer walk with over 200,000 tombstones along the way. There is something peaceful in the air as you enjoy the scenery among the giant trees.

Best 9 Hakone Open-Air Museum(箱根彫刻の森美術館） in kanagawa

The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a lot of fun for visitours of all ages. There are areas for kids to run and play, the views of Hakone are beautiful , and the sculpture is really interesting.

Both serious art enthusiasts and those who aren't can enjoy this place.

The museum is open from 9:00~17:00 a dairy and costs 1600 yen per person.

Best 10 Naritasan Shin shoji Temple (成田山　新勝寺） in Tokyo

This is an awesome way to spend your layover in Narita. When you get off your place in Narita, proceed to domestic connection to exit the airport. Make sure to have your passport ready.

If you have hand carry with you, I recommend using one of the coin lockers, starting at 400 yen.

Don't use the one with the attendant. It costs more. Once you've secured your luggages, proceed to the basement to catch the Keisei line to Narita(2 stops) Outside the train station, cross the street. Follow the sign to the Shinshoji Temple. Half way to the temple, you will pass the Tourism Ofiice on your left. Try some Japanese food on the way to the temple.
